The Lessons of the Freedom Struggle

Perhaps the most important lesson I learned from my search for freedom is that the working class is the most revolutionary class inmodern society but it still needs the leadership of the revolutionary Intellectuals, some of whom may come from other classes.

Freedom means independence,self-respect,self-determination and self-assertion.

Freedom means working to eliminate illeteracy, corruption, crime, hunger and poverty.

Freedom means using the vast resources of our country to allow us to enjoying the abundance that comes from a good and just life.

Freedom means that we must remember the biblical wisdom to 'take heed of our alms before man, for man will take them'. We must not forget that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Freedom means that we must be on our gaurd all the time.
